Is there a way to reset case number in the case object to start with 1 or 0? In custom object you can do it, but in standard objects couldn't find a way.

Yes you can. Here are the steps:
- Log into your Salesforce Org
- Switch to classic
- Click setup
- Type case in the quick find box
- Under case, click on fields
- Click edit next to case number
- Enter 0 or 1 in the next starting number field
Next time when a case is created from front end, case numbers will be re-set.
